Though the Eyes of a Child/The Visions of My Thoughts

Though the eyes of a child, is a story of the children I came in contact with while traveling though Accra, Ghana and there day to day struggles to survive and fit into a society that is around so much poverty and despair. Children have to earn a living as do there older brothers and sisters. It is not enough just to try and get and education, but they are all not privileged to and education either. The importance is on the accumulation of money. Children have to earn there wages everyday also, as there parents do in order to put food in their mouths and having a bed or pallet to sleep on during the night.

THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR ME I LEARNED A LOT, WHAT A TRIP. I ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO AFRICA WELL I GOT MY WISH .I ALWAYS DREAMED OF OWNING A TRIPLE WOVEN KENTE SUIT AND A ALLIGATOR BRIEF CASE I ALWAYS SAID IF I GO TO AFRICA THAT'S WHAT I WOULD OWN.THE FIRST THING I PURCHASED WAS THE ALLIGATOR BRIEF CASE, IT'S SIMPLY GORGEOUS,THE NEXT THING I PURCHASED WAS THE TIPPLE WOVEN KENTE CLOTH AND A PIECE OF MUD CLOTH. I WAS GOING TO MAKE THE SUIT MYSELF,BUT I FOUND A TAILOR THAT WAS EAGER TO MAKE MY SUIT AND JACKET IT WAS SUCH A GOOD PRICE I COULDN'T RESIST. I ALSO MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE TAILOR TO MAKE CUSTOM CLOTHING FOR MY BOUTIQUE. HERE IN SACRAMENTO CALIFORNIA. ANYONE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW I WILL TAKE YOUR MEASUREMENTS send them to him and he will make your outfit. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS!

The highlights of my stay in Ghana were visiting the children at the schools, touring the slave castle at Cape Coast, being entertained by the dancers and seeing the Real Estate Development. I am looking forward returning to Ghana and doing other business there in the future.
